At NBCS Centrelink operated agency you can:​

 

  • Use our computers to access my.gov.au and other government services and information and set up access to digital services.​

  • Help you find information about payments and arrange referrals to specialist services

  • ​Use our phone to access the self service options​

  • Access free Wi-Fi to connect to government services​Use our equipment to upload, print and photocopy documents​

  • Get your identity documents confirmed​

 

NBCS Centrelink Agents cannot:​

  • Access your records

  • Make decisions about or change your payments or debts

  • Issue Medicare or Healthcare cards

  • Do customer interviews

  • Contact the agency to get information about your payments or entitlements without your permission​​​

Services Include:

MFDC provides care and education programs for children aged 0-12 years. Care is offered on a full time and part time basis. At Mundubbera Family Day Care we encourage and support each child’s emotional, social, personal, cultural, creative, physical and linguistic development in a warm, safe and stimulating environment.

NBCS delivers emergency relief services to help people in Gayndah, Mundubbera and Eidsvold address immediate basic needs in times of crisis. Emergency relief can act as a safety net for people experiencing financial distress or hardship and who have limited means or resources to help them alleviate their financial crisis.

​

The type of assistance offered by NBCS may include one-off assistance such as:

  • food, transport or chemist vouchers

  • part-payment of utility account/s

  • clothing

  • budgeting assistance and/or

  • referrals to other services that help to address underlying causes of financial crisis.

 

Emergency relief organisations can be the first point of contact for an individual with complex needs, allowing for referral to more intensive support such as financial counselling or mental health or alcohol and other drugs support. This early intervention with a wraparound approach can lead to better outcomes and future self-sufficiency for individuals and families.

​

NBCS builds strong networks within the local communities to assist individuals to minimize potential dependence on assistance and is able to refer individuals for Financial, Mental Health Counselling and other services when required.

NBCS run a volunteer service for Patient travel from Eidsvold, Mundubbera and Gayndah allowing for assistance to attend speciality appointments, hospital admissions, and radiography appointments in places such as Bundaberg, Childers and Brisbane.

 

In order to use the service there are forms that are required to be completed by your doctor and provided to NBCS via email, initially this is inclusive of Form A (Access via below button) and then also a Form B for any further travel.

 

After these forms have been received from your doctor NBCS will then lodge all other required documents on your behalf. As the service is facilitated by volunteers, we prefer at least 2 weeks’ notice to book your patient travel appointment.

 

All our vehicles are located in Mundubbera however the volunteers then collect the patients from their home or an agreed address to undertake their journey. The Patient Travel service is unable to be utilised for for optical (glasses) or dental.

NBCS has conference rooms, office spaces, lawn areas, BBQ areas,  marquees and an outdoor inflatable movie screen and more for hire. You can also access computers, free wi-fi, print documents and photocopy from the centres.
