We are a vibrant Community Centre that provides inclusive, innovative and sustainable programs and services to all groups and individuals in the North Burnett region.
We prize the abilities of all our members, staff and volunteers to promote and support the growth & usefulness of our organisation. We aim to be welcoming, inclusive and empathic towards each other and the people we serve. We try to act with honesty & integrity and ethically in all situations. We take responsibility for our actions and any consequences and we seek the best for all.
We work in the North Burnett region to:
· Provide access to social and community services
· Identify unmet needs and gaps in service delivery
· Develop and deliver programs to meet those identified needs
North Burnett Community Service (formerly Mundubbera Community Development Association) is a Not for Profit community organization, founded in 1995. It was founded to assist all people to access activities of their choice in a way that promotes friendships, skill development, participation and independence.
NBCS employs a combination of full time, part time permanent and casual staff and project officers when grant funds allow. There are also a number of volunteers who help deliver vital services to the Mundubbera, Eidsvold and Gayndah communities.
