About Us
The North Burnett Community Service (NBCS) is a not-for-profit, locally owned and operated community organisation, founded in 1995. NBCS aim to meet local need and support individuals and families to access services and activities that are locally driven and created.

Neighbourhood centre services
Our priority is to understand our regional community, and to support community members and groups in developing and delivering programs to address needs. Neighbourhood Centres are welcoming places for people to seek support, connect with others and contribute to their local community. Neighbourhood Centres are inclusive community spaces where everyone is welcome. Think of them as community hubs where everyday people can connect with others through events and activities, use shared facilities, access a range of supports, and play a role in strengthening their local community.
